Asian Ginger Butter

This butter works well with fish, pork, and grilled vegetables.

Ingredients
Procedure
For 8 people
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger, peeled and grated
½ cup cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  1. In a mixing bowl, add butter and allow it t become softened.

  2. Use a fork to blend in the seasonings and herbs.

  3. Remove the butter onto a piece of waxed paper and roll into a cylinder.

  4. Refrigerate of freeze cylinder-shaped butter.

  5. Cut off pats, as you need them.

            

Note: It is best to place the compound butter on freshly grilled hot items.
