Cranberry Chutney
Ingredients
Procedure
Makes 6 cups
¾ cup water
¾ cup sugar
3 cups fresh cranberries
2 cups peeled and diced granny smith apples
1½ cups diced canned peaches
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp cloves
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ cup lemon juice
 
  1. Boil water and sugar stirring to dissolve sugar

  2. Add cranberries, peaches, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and lemon juice

  3. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until apples and cranberries are tender about 10 minutes

  4. Cool the refrigerate

    Note: cranberry chuntney should be made 1 day
    before serving
