Ingredients
6 granny smith apples peeled and cored
1 cp. Walnuts
1 cp. Dried cherries
1 cp. Light brown sugar
½ tsp. Allspice
½ tsp. Cinnamon
4 oz. Butter cold cut into chunks
½ cp. brandy
Procedure
1. In food processor add all ingredients except apples, turn and blend well, not to long just enough to incorporate butter with all ingredients.
2. Stuff each apple with mixture until over flowing, see photo, place the apples in oven bag large size Reynolds back. This bag should already be in a casserole ovenproof dish. Splash brand over apples and tie bag shut. Cut a small hole in top of bag.
3. Bake in a pre-heated 375 oven for 25 min. / serve at table and cut bag all the way open for your guests and listen to the oohs and aahs..Serve with ice cream.
